On 26 August 2011, a few students from the Indonesian Defence University (IDU), led by BG Djarot Budiyanto, visited SAFTI MI as part of a two week visit to Singapore. The visit was hosted by COL Tan Chong Boon, Commander SAS.
The objective of the visit was was for them to have a better understanding of Singapore and to have positive takeaways from their visit here. Additionally it was for them to understand our training pedagogies at SAFTI MI and to have some interactions with the SAF officers attending the Battalion Tactics Course.
