AFTER MY RETIREMENT as a uniformed officer in the Army, I decided to become a DXO as I felt that I could still contribute to Singapore's defence in many ways. It was a quick decision.
MY WORK IS FUN AND CHALLENGING at the same time. It involves engaging and guiding NSmen throughout their National Service journey.
I FEEL A SENSE OF ACHIEVEMENT when I help enhance the NS experience of NSmen as they go for their various training and activities. With smooth administration, they're able to focus on training, and this enhances the unit's operational readiness.
