AUDIO-VISUAL MATERIALS
The audio-visual materials available in the Library include: Videotapes, Audio-cassettes, Microforms. The Library has a collection of more than 1,800 video-cassettes and 500 audio-cassettes and a number of microforms.

The subjects include:
Wars and Warfare
War movies
Biographies
Leadership

Members may request for these materials at the Customer Service Counter. As per MDA's instruction, all SAFTI MI Library's audio-visual materials rated NC-16 and M-18 are to be viewed within the SAFTI MI Library or MINDEF/SAF units' viewing facilities only. SAFTI MI Library's Bulk Loan Service

SAFTI MI Library's bulk loan service is open to all MINDEF/SAF departments/units.

Each Bulk Loan department/unit may borrow up to a maximum of 200 books and 20 audio-visual titles for up to 9 weeks and 3 weeks respectively. This service aims to bring the library collection closer to our members. It provides a convenient way for MINDEF/SAF personnel to access our collection through their department/unit. This will be especially useful for units on periodic overseas training and attachments. The Bulk Loan service is intended to support Library members in their pursuit of life-long learning, continuing education, self improvement and leisure reading.
