National Runway Cycling and Skating 2008 (NRWCS 2008)!
The much anticipated event of the year is just around the corner! Jointly organised by the RSAF, SAFRA National Service Association and the Singapore Sports Council, NRWCS 2008 will be held at Paya Lebar Air Base on Sunday, 25 May 2008, 7.30am (Gate opens by 7am). It promises to be a fun-filled and exciting morning for the entire family. In celebration of National Family week, it aims to promote healthy lifestyles, family bonding and better community relations through cycling and in-line skating on the runway.
Participants can choose the Family Route (6km) or the leisure route (15km). Alternatively there will be the Shimano Endurance Challenge (Skaters - 30km, Cyclists - 45km) for those who wish to put their fitness to the test. Registration is open to all and is absolutely FREE! Each registered participant is entitled to buy up to 2 Shimano Polygon-equipped bicycles at a special discount price! Bicycle rental is also available for $18 per bicycle.
