INTERFET
(UN Sanctioned International Force In East Timor)
INTERFET is signficant as
SAF's first involvement in a UN-sanctioned PKO
mission. Lead by the Australian Armed Forces,
it is also the largest undertaking involving 373
personnel across all three services. Singapore
was one of the first countries to participate
in this operation.
