Q1: What sort of services does the MINDEF Feedback Unit provide?


A1: The MINDEF Feedback Unit gathers feedback from members of the public (including NSmen) on matters concerning MINDEF / SAF's training and manpower policies. These feedback are then channelled to the appropriate agencies for their attention and necessary action. Responses are then given to the contributors as soon as possible.

Q2: Is there any way in which I can contact MFU before or after office hours?


A2: You may call the MFU hotline (1800-760 8844). You may also send us a fax (our fax number is 67646119) or an email at feedback@starnet.gov.sg.

Q3: How do I book for my IPPT? Whom can I contact regarding IPPT matters?

Q4: I would like to notify the SAF about my overseas leave. Whom should I call?


A4: You may call the MINDEF Notification Centre at 1800-3676767. You may also notify the SAF via internet.

Q5: I've lost the number to my unit.


A5: Please call MINDEF operator at 6760 8828.

Q6: I have a complaint against an SAF driver.


A6: Please dial the MINDEF Feedback Hotline at 1800-760 8844. You will have to provide details such as the vehicle number, the date of the incident and details of the incident. This will allow the proper investigations to be carried out.

Q10: Does MFU require any information from me in order to process my feedback?


A10: The person intercepting your feedback will need your full name, NRIC, rank (if applicable), address and telephone number in order to process your request and reply promptly to you. Your personal particulars are required to ensure that the feedback is genuine and that we can contact you for further details on the case when necessary.

Q11: How will I know of the results of any request / enquiry / complaint that I have made?


A11: MFU will contact you via fax, e-mail, or post depending on how your feedback was forwarded.

Q12: What types of feedback does MFU handle?


A12: MFU handles all matters concerning MINDEF/SAF manpower and training issues. These include requests, enquiries, suggestions and complaints from NSmen and the public.
