Singapore's Assistance in Support of the Relief Efforts in Chengdu, People's Republic of China

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) has deployed an overseas rescue contingent to Chengdu, People's Republic of China, to assist the local authorities in search and rescue efforts. The contingent departed this morning from Paya Lebar Airbase onboard two Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) C-130s military aircraft. - SCDF
