Minister for Defence, Mr Teo Chee Hean; 2nd Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen and Minister of State for Defence, A/P Koo Tsai Kee, spoke on issues pertaining to Singapore's defence and security at the Committee of Supply Debate 2008.

Mr Teo spoke about MINDEF's response to the complex and fluid regional security environment, Singapore's contributions to peace support operations and international reconstruction efforts, the SAF's transformation efforts and operational readiness.

Dr Ng addressed the human resource challenges in the SAF and camp security while Professor Koo spoke on National Service, Total Defence and Commitment to Defence.
