Event Description:
President S R Nathan will be hosting a garden reception at the Istana for personnel from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) on 13 Jul 08. This annual reception is to be held in recognition of the contributions and dedication made by MINDEF/SAF personnel to the defence of Singapore.
The reception also enables the President to meet and mingle with the servicemen and talk to them about their SAF experience and contributions to the nation's peace and security.
The event is open to invited guests only.
