Event Description:
Jointly organised by SAFRA National Service Association, the Republic of Singapore Air Force and supported by the Singapore Sports Council to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, National Runway Cycling has been renamed as National Runway Cycling & Skating (NRWCS) from 2008 in recognition of increasing support from the skating community. NRWCS will once again promise a day of exhilarating fun for participants.
Bring your family and friends to join in a Sunday morning of leisure exercise and be entertained by exciting fringe activities at the end of the route. NRWCS 08 is also a key event of the National Family Week 2008.
Routes:
Family Route*: 6km
Leisure Route: 15km
Shimano Endurance Challenge:
Cyclists - 45km
Skaters - 30km
*Note: You do not need to be in a family to join the Family Route - it is for participants who wish to cycle or inline-skate for a shorter distance.
