"I-Action@PRIDE: Involve, Inspire, Innovate" is the theme for this year's MINDEF PRIDE Day. Besides fostering an innovative and creative mindset in our people, the theme reaffirms MINDEF/SAF's emphasis on personal involvement in the PRIDE (PRoductivity and Innovation in Daily Effort) movement. MINDEF/SAF achieved total PRIDE savings of $343.2m in 2007. These cost savings create capacity to reallocate resources to support the development of the 3rd Generation SAF.
At the exhibition, Minister Teo also officially launched the 'Information on Preparation for National Service' (iPrepNS) website.
