Each year, the best of the Recruits from Basic Military Training, passing the most stringent of tests, enter the Officer Cadet School to be trained as future commanders of the SAF.
The 38-week course aims to achieve the unwavering objectives of producing adaptive leaders capable of operating in dynamic, complex and uncertain environments through a more robust and efficient training system.
The form of training activities and key milestone events may have evolved through the years, but the spirit and rationale remain the same.
