As in any other organisation, staff in TRACOM must be given opportunities to participate in continuing education and training. Such training and development is crucial to the overall well-being and long term growth of the individual. Well-trained and prepared staff will in turn add value to TRACOM, as they will be able to better contribute to making the formation a provider of "World Class Naval Training".
"Training-100" is an initiative to address the education, training and development programme (ETDP) of individual staff in TRACOM to complement the existing ROA and Specialisation courses. Its aim is to provide the individual staff with the opportunity to participate in personal development or enrichment programmes so as to enhance the individual's professional development.

From the human resource development point of view, this programme will further enhance the Navy's desire to develop the individual to his or her fullest potential. TRACOM is committed to put in place a system that will facilitate the fulfilment of this desire.
All staff in TRACOM are allocated 100 hours to fulfil the ETDP per year under the "Training-100" programme. The 100 hours is equivalent to 12.5 working days or 4.5% of a staff's total possible annual deployment time.
