The Institute of Maritime Warfare (IMW) consists of the Missile Corvette (MCV) Combat Simulation Centre, Patrol Vessel (PV) Combat Simulation Centre, Tactical Training Centre (Tuas) and Tactical Training Centre (Changi).
IMW oversees the training in tactical trainers and combat system simulators. The institute also provides training and ensures standards in maritime warfare in the fleet, coastal command and training institutions in the Navy and provides input doctrine development. IMW also plans and conducts Task Group and Task Force exercises.
