Our public responsibility is in line with that established for the whole of the SAF. We in TRACOM are committed to supporting national goals, community services and care for the environment.
TRACOM's staff actively promote and participate in community-based service and charitable events such as the SHARE program for many years now, adoption of homes for the challenged, and nation-wide fund raising activities.
For the adopted homes by TRACOM, her staff contribute towards the well being of the homes in the areas of charity drives, maintenance, repairs and organising activities for the residents.

Besides this, TRACOM instructors also work with the National Cadet Corps (NCC) HQ on the activities for NCC cadets during their vacation. The activities helped keep school children occupied and hence minimise their chances of getting involved in undesirable activities due to boredom.
Our staff are constantly reminded of their active roles in programmes like water and energy conservation (monthly consumption and trends are actively monitored and analysed), safety consciousness, values inculcation, and Economy Drives (to save public monies) through quality improvements and innovations.
We have in place a regular 3-monthly blood donation day for the staff with the Singapore Blood Transfusion Service, and activities at adopted homes, to remind them of the need to care for others.
