SAF OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP (SAFOS)
A prestigious scholarship offered to a select few, the SAF Overseas Scholarship is the perfect vehicle for an education at some of the best universities in in the world. It also is the perfect beginning to a rewarding career with the Air Force.
During your course of study, you'll enjoy a full salary as well as full payment of your tuition fees and other approved charges. Book, clothing and excess baggage allowance, plus a return airfare are the other perks of this scholarship.
SAF MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS (SMS)
Offered only to those with excellent academic results and dynamic leadership qualities, it similarly prepares you for the top command and senior management positions in the SAF.
SAF ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP - MILITARY (SAS - MILITARY)
The SAF Academic Scholarship / Military is tenable at Military academies like the US Air Force Academy(USAFA) and the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) for candidates with good academic results and dynamic leadership qualities. The recipient will receive full salary, tuition fees, all approved charges and allowances during their entire course of study. On Graduation, recipients will be bonded to the SAF for a period of 6 years.
SAF ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP (SAS)
The SAF Academic Scholarship (SAS) is tenable at approved overseas universities. The SAS is open to candidates with good academic results and military leadership qualities. Recipients will be given full salary, tuition fee and other approved charges during the course of study. On completion of studies, recipients will be bonded to the SAF for a period of 6 years.
LOCAL STUDY AWARD - PILOT / WSO(FIGHTER)
If you've always wanted to get a university degree and be a pilot, this scheme is for you. With it, you'll receive your pilot training followed by a tertiary education, at home or abroad.
This scheme awards you a book allowance, full salary for the duration of your studies as well as payment of your tuition fees and other approved charges.
LOCAL STUDY AWARD (LSA)
The Local Study Award allows you to fulfil your tertiary education at NUS or NTU after you're commissioned as an officer. We'll also provide you with an annual $9,000 allowance as well as pay for tuition fees and other approved charges.
