The Challenge
You'll be trained in one of these four areas of specialisation:
1) WSO Fighter
You'll work in the F-16 Fighting Falcon D, one of the world's most sophisticated fighter aircraft, and be involved in planning missions, flight navigation, monitoring surface and air threats as well as targeting.
2) WSO Command, Control and Communications (C3)
You'll command fighter aircraft in performing intercept operations, time-sensitive search & rescue mission and precision-demanding air traffic control operations.
3) WSO Air Defence Artillery (ADA)
You'll be in charge of operating our state-of-the-art air defence systems, and to engage and stop intruders with our short and medium range anti-aircraft guns and missiles.
4) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems (UAV) - Pilot
The UAV Pilot is trained to operate and pilot unmanned aerial vehicles. You'll lead a team of UAV professionals to obtain vital intelligence, as well as analyse and interpret highly critical data, contributing to the success of RSAF missions and the defence of SIngapore.

As a Weapon Systems Officer, you should be:
Your eyesight should be:
- normal colour vision
- not more than 500 degrees per eye for WSO(C3, UAV PILOT & ADA)
- not more than 200 degrees astigmatism per eye for WSO(C3, NAV, UAV PILOT & ADA)
- not more than 300 degrees per eye for WSO(FTR)
- not more than 100 degrees astigmatism per eye for WSO(FTR)
Academically, you should have a degree, Diploma or a full GCE 'A' Level Certificate.
