The Challenge

Even the world's most sophisticated machines won't run without proper support. In the Air Force, the AMS ensures that support as you'll take charge of all vital aircraft and equipment parts.

You'll be trained in management of materials handling and control as well as the latest computer system in materials handling to help you monitor inventories and be responsible for their availability at all times.

As you are also responsible for the upkeep of extremely sensitive and finely-tuned equipment, it is vital that you are well-trained the aspects of quality control and storage technology.

The Requirements

As an Aviation Material Specialist, you should be:
  • medically fit

Your eyesight should be:
  • normal colour vision
  • not more than 800 degrees

Academically, all you need is at least 1 GCE 'N' level pass. If you are an ITC student or are planning on studying at the ITE, you should check out the ITE Sponsorship Scheme.
