UAV Command

UAV Command
The UAV Command (UC) is the second RSAF Command to be inaugurated as part of the restructured 3rd Generation Air Force. The UC is also the first operational SAF Command raised in the RSAF that will be staffed by personnel from all three Services and the Joint Staff.


The UC will have the following roles:

  • It will be responsible for the development of unmanned systems for the SAF, including expertise and capability developemnt, vocational development for its operators and ensuing the operational readiness and safety of UAV employment.
  • It will be the dedicated authority to provide specialist guidance on UAV operations and flight safety considerations for the SAF, including the daily management of routine UAV flight operations, and the provision of UAV support for the execution of peacetime operations.

128 Sqn
128 Squadron

128 Squadron was formed in 1988, It's primary role residdes in the conduct of aerial reconnaissance and battlefield surveillace for Army Divisions. With Focused and Ready as its motto, 128 Squadron stands ready to aid the SAF ground forces, intent only on sucess.

119 Sqn
119 Squadron

119 Squadron was formed on the 1st of July 1998. It is a NS unit with a small core group to provide continuous and upgrade training to NSmen to maintain the operational readiness of the squadron.

116 Sqn
116 Squadron

116 Squadron is the latest UAV squadron established in the RSAF which will be presided under UAV Command. It provides the 3rd Generation SAF with an enhanced battlefield surveillance capability.

UAV Training School
UAV Training School

UAV Training School was formed on the 1st of July 1998. It is a professional body establised to impart the knowledge and skills to meet the aspirations of the trainees to become professional UAV operaters.

Air Logistics Squadron
Air Logistics Squadron

Formed on the 2nd of December 1996, Air Logistics Squadron envisions to be a Centre of Excellence for UAV Systems Maintenance. ALS's mission is to generate and sustain combat power through flexible and superior logistics with worl-class people.
