Brigadier General (BG) Jimmy Khoo, Future Systems Architect of the Future Systems Directorate, made a keynote speech at the International Military Testing Association (IMTA) 2005 Conference.
In his address, BG Khoo touched on how a large part of the SAF's Integrated Knowledge Based Command and Control (IKC2) initiative centres on 'sensemaking', or the exploration into how to achieve the best cognitive outcomes by turning data into useful information. Sensemaking is critical to the SAF in helping to deal with the increasing uncertainty and complexity in our environment, and in moving towards the 3G SAF.
