The Defence
Art project was initiated to
explore the use of art to connect with
Singaporeans on defence issues. In
September 2002, CPL (NS) Ken Seet, a
professional photographer, was invited
by MINDEF to capture images of our SAF Peacekeepers operating
in Timor-Leste.
The result is a set of 52 striking black-
and-white photographs that not only depict
the grit and determination of our soldiers,
but also the warm relationship forged
between them and the locals. Visit the
photo exhibition or surf through this
website to experience peacekeeping
in Timor-Leste.
